Sweet setup, great for gaming. but have you thought about upgrading your cpu (and so motherboard) to something more powerful like the i7-3930k, does wonders for animation rendering, would roughly double the speed, before overclocking.

I strictly do XBox for gaming, but am interested in a 3D rendering computer, for Vue and other stuff. I'm thinking maybe a good gaming system like this would do well as a renderer too? Thanks for listing this information.

More interested in rendering than games. I talked to a young gamer this morning in person who gave me some tips. Your system looks beautiful, real inspiring!

I'm going to get a system in a week or two, but one question: I see you use Vue also. I like that program, but wondering if you also experience a command lag...for instance, I click on an object sizing icon, and cannot use it for several seconds, or I have to wait a long time for a change to update if I have a view of four windows (top, side, another side, main camera). I have an HP, AMD processor, quad system, Windows 8, 8 Gig RAM, 64 bit, but it's about four or five years old. I'm wondering if your system being newer and more set up for rendering makes you wait much when using Vue.

nop no lagging :)

Buy intel processor 17 ,12 gigs or ram and a good graphic card and you will not having any lagging. For Programs like the Vue a good graphic card makes a huge difference,i recon if you want to make it super powerfull go for Nvidia Quadro 2000+ like the one i got,you will see amazing results !

So...why all the peripherals, and monster computer...yet a tiny little screen upon which to play? I'd expect with all the other stuff, and your preference of game style, that you'd have either a 120" screen tv/monitor, or at the very least, the helmet modified from the XBOX 360 used for Ace Combat, so it was compatible with the games you play now, LOL! Just busting, looks like an awesome set up. I'd like to have it just to render things out faster.
