My new textures for Touchwood payware Avro Lancaster !
The Avro Lancaster is a British four-engined Second World War heavy bomber designed and built by Avro for the Royal Air Force (RAF).
It first saw active service with RAF Bomber Command in 1942 and, as the strategic bombing offensive over Europe gathered momentum, it became the main heavy bomber used by the RAF, the RCAF, and squadrons from other Commonwealth and European countries serving within the RAF, overshadowing its close contemporaries the Handley Page Halifax and Short Stirling. The "Lanc", as it was affectionately known, thus became the most famous and most successful of the Second World War night bombers, "delivering 608,612 long tons of bombs in 156,000 sorties
Hope you like it !
As usual Cinema4d and Photoshop
one of my 2 favourite ww2 bombers
I was lucky enough too see both the canadian Lanc and the BBMF Lanc flying in formation with the Vulcan bomber, what a sight to see - three of the finest aircraft EVER to come out of the UK flying in formation. This scene does the Lancaster prous. (fav'd)
This is Fantastic, the colors the composition is really awesome. Really great work!!!
Easiest heavy bomber on the Allied to shoot down. No ball turret to protect it's belly so just swoop up from beneath and you can't miss.
This is amazing. The Avro Lancaster is one of my favourite planes from WW2. You've definately done it justice here
holy crap i love this bomber, and have been searching the net finding some nice pics of it, drawn rendered photo etc... but most photos on google are scaled down or not so great quality. faving this one for sure.
Love this plane - we've got one that flies out of the Hamilton Warplane Museum about 20 minutes from here, so through the summer months it's fairly routinely flying overhead. Incredible piece of aviation history.
This is a great piece of artwork!
This is a great piece of artwork!
Beautiful, very well done.
wow! Outstanding understanding of lighting, composition and texture!
I love the lancaster. Nice model and render
Such a classic aircraft
Really great piece of art
Geeze your stuff is always so amazing, don't know how to even begin making a model like that haha
Very evocative image, nicely done. It's not often I'm moved to comment on the artwork on D.A., but this piece just does it for me. The trio of Lancs heading east into the dusk as the last bits of daylight retreat further west, I can almost feel the droning power of the engines and the cold, growing fear of the crew ...
Huzzah to the mighty Lancs! My Grandad used to be a signaller in these in the 1950s, part of RAF's 37th Squadron. Remarkably, he was taught how to morse code by one of the men who sent out SOS on Titanic.
Oh this is amazing! How much time did it took you? Because I need to model a Bombardier 700 in Cinema as well and, even though it's pretty different in shape, maybe I can predict the time it will take me.
Man, these days when I run across a gorgeous piece of aviation click bait, it ends up being one of yours. Just wonderful, my friend
Very nice. Love the dramatic composition and colors.
I'm an air cadet, which means that i have seen some amazing paintings and pictures of WWII aircraft. This piece is definitely up at the top of the list. Excellent job!!!!
Wow! Very nice! Outside of the Corsair, I have always loved these "bigger birds."
Great POV! Nice job
